FUND RAISING EVENTS

Mark your calendars now! Our next Dinner/Auction will be held on March 5, 2011. Mark your calendars now!-
Dinner/Auction- Our annual Dinner/Auction was again held at the Monarch Hotel and Conference Center on March 6, 2010. We are pleased to announce that the 2010 Citizen for Seniors Award was presented to Freda Beal and Dina Reed, of the Milwaukie Branch of Wells Fargo Bank. These women provide us with oversight for the nearly 100 accounts we maintain for our clients. But perhaps more importantly they work with their other customers who are at risk, often referring them for our many services. We also introduced a second recognition this year, a Senior Advocate Award. This award was presented to Bryan Brock of the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office. He has been successful in some significant prosecutions of perpetrators of elder abuse. Please join us as we recognize these community partners for their efforts to promote the health and welfare of our aging and disabled citizens. Our dinner/auction was a huge success, quickly becoming the "party" where the fun in fund-raising was the password of the evening. Thanks to the efforts of our Board of Directors, Sister Mary of Solutions for Non-Profits and Jean Wilson, volunteer event coordinator, we had more auction items, more reservations and more sponsors than ever! Their hard work resulted in an increase of friends and of funds. We hope you will join us next year and become a partner in our mission to improve the quality of lives of senior citizens and adults with disabilities, one person at a time.
